In association with Scottish policy we are committed to addressing the challenges faced by children and young people who experience poor outcomes throughout their lives.
In partnership with Local Authorities we strive to develop services that are child-centred, responsive and joined up and early intervention is at the heart of every service we deliver.
Our looked after children and young people in our services range from only weeks old through to young adults. They also range widely in their needs and outcomes. In recognition of the wide skill set required we ensure that our staffs are well trained in the specific areas of the child’s needs to deliver the best outcome.
Many of the services listed below have a joined up approach as many of the children and young people cross into other services. We always utilise where appropriate the same members of staff’s ensuring that the child’s journey of care and support has strong continuity resulting in much improved outcomes.
We have been delivering this service in the East of Scotland for over six years. In partnership with the Local Authorities we have continued to improve our outcomes through training, report writing and family mediation.
Designed in Partnership with City of Edinburgh Council in 2007 we are responsible for an early intervention emergency service for 11 to 16year olds. Of the 162 children that have passed through the service 160 were returned to their place of residence without further escalation.
We can give immediate support to a volatile situation whilst a planned response is looked at. This can either be in their home or a suitable location.
We support families by delivering support in the home or at a suitable location or planned outing.
We supply specifically qualified staff to support transport/escort of young people’s throughout the UK.
We can supply specifically qualified staff to support children/young people/families at an early stage to prevent further escalation into the care system.
We can design and deliver a safe response to most crisis and planned situations. Our services operate 365 days per year with the exception of Supervised Contacts which does not operate Christmas Day or New Years Day. All our staffs have a PVG and hold the relevant qualifications, skills and are SSSC registered. TSCCP is registered with the Care Commission and is a SSSC and Disclosure registered body.
